Weathering

Types of weathering
Mechanical weathering-is probably the easiest to understand out of all of them it is when something is physically breaking like it being fractured it's broken down mechanically.
Chemical weathering-is simply chemical reactions happening in the rocks breaking it down. It mostly happen in places with a lot of water. It happens in these places because water has chemical in it which will get into the rock and cause chemical weathering.
Biological weathering-isn't really a process but plants and animals can cause this mechanical and chemical weathering.
Exfoliation weathering- this type of weathering doesn't happen often but when it does it happens in warm areas. It's when the sun beams down on a rock and at night gets cold. This will cause the rock to break down and weather
