Karl Benz invented the car engine and began test driving on the streets of Munich. The car replaced carriages pulled by horses. This made traveling and carrying things a lot faster. This helped mail travel faster it made getting to town faster etc. if Karl Benz didn't invent the car we might still be ridding horses everywhere.
