Levels Of Organization
Biosphere : The biosphere is the global sum of all ecosystems . It can also be termed the zone of life on Earth, a closed system, and largely self-regulating .
Biome : Biomes are climatically and geographically defined as contiguous areas with similar climatic conditions on the Earth , such as communities of plants , animals , and soil organisms , and are often referred to as ecosystems .
Ecosystem : An ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment , interacting as a system . These biotic and abiotic components are regarded as linked together through nutrient cycles and energy flows .
Community : A locality inhabited by a group of any size whose members use a common language , manners , law , culture and tradition .
Population : Is a study of populations of organisms , especially the regulation of population size , life history traits such as clutch size , and extinction .
Organism : Is any contiguous living system such as animal , fungus , micro-organism , or plant .
