Biography
Born in Modena Italy in 1523.
Died October 9, 1562.
Fallopius served as canon of the cathedral of Modena and then turned to the study of medicine at the University of Ferrara, where he became a teacher of anatomy. He then held positions at the University of Pisa.

He was one of the most important anatomists and physicians of the sixteenth century.
He was known for the study of ear and of the reproductive organs.
