A process is defined as :
A set of logical related discrete elements (tasks, actions, or steps) taken in order to achieve a particular end.

Each discrete element of a process has two aspects:
1. Its operational definition or specific technical content, which is addressed in a next chapter, and
2. Its context, which is represented by everything else that surrounds and affect the specific technical content
