Safe to Sleep Campaign

The Safe to Sleep campaign also known as the Back to Sleep campaign began in 1994; has helped educate millions of the caregivers on how to reduce the risk of SIDS. Sine the start of the campaign SIDS rates in the United States have decreased by 50% both overall and within various racial and ethnic groups. SIDS still remains the leading cause of death for United States infants 1month to a year old.
