DIVISIONS:
Mahayana: combines Zen, Pure Land, and Tibetan Buddhism. Mostly
practiced in Tibet, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Mongolia
Theravada: closest to original teachings of the Buddha. Mostly practiced in
Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
