Missions

- Where ever explorers go into the New World, missionaries followed
- Their motto was "cross and crown"
- the saga of the Missionary activity including many stories of brave Franciscans, Jesuits, Dominicans, and others risked their lives to bring Christ to indigenous peoples.
- Many Missionaries were saintly and good to the Indians , learning their languages, teaching them faith,and instructing them in new trades.
