About Diego

Diego Rivera was born in 1886 in Guanajuato, Mexico. Most of his early work is influenced by the surroundings in his hometown.

He began drawing at the age of 10 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mexico City. From there he went to Europe and became friends with Pablo Picasso and Marc Chagall.
