Buddhism vs. Hinduism:
-Buddhism is a reliable belief that was founded by a founder while Hinduism was not necessarily founded by a founder.
-Buddhism is an organized belief with set beliefs that Buddhist must believe such as the four noble truths and the eightfold path (the path to nirvana or the way to enlightenment), while Hinduism was stacked up with many ideas and beliefs of random people, whom the Hindu's seemed to like.
-Now do really want to follow a religion filled with random ideas, or would you rather follow a religion with true and set beliefs? Oh- you'd rather be a Buddhist- that's a good choice.
-Buddhism is not really a religion. It is merely a set of ways to teach people of the practical teachings of the Buddha and it's goal is for us to reach nirvania.
-Hinduism on the other hand, is for Hindu's to reach salvation, be free of rebirth, be free of reincarnation. Now how lame does that sound compared to Buddhism and how Buddhists can reach a place called "nirvania?" Yes you're right, it does sounds pretty lame.
-The afterlife itself for Buddhist is cool also. Although in both Buddhism and in Hinduism, they both believe that they will be reborn as part of rebirth. The only difference is, is that in Buddhism, after one is rebirth- karma chooses weather you will reincarnate in one of the 26 realms of happiness or end up in four nether realms of suffering, while in Hinduism- one may never be free from rebirth until they have reached "Enlightenment" and attained moksha.
-Moksha: This is the release from the cycle of rebirth impelled by the law of karma.

The Drawback:
-Buddhism is a self journey religion. What this means is that since Buddhism is a religion without a god to lead, one must learn how to find happiness and peace for one's self. In Hinduism- there is a god to guide the people and for the people to worship.
