Conclusion

I believe  thee artists  conceptualized the theme  by incorporating different types off heroes and heroic actions in their pieces. Even pieces from different  eras seem to have a common  element, a heroic figure.

The  values and concerns of these pices  are the common good and display bravery and courage. Viewers see these values in pieces like Daniel in the Lions Den, where Daniel bravely sits in a cave full of lions to defend his faith.

Heroes exist in all ages. No matter the time there are always people doing good deeds for others. Even though heroes from different times help in different ways, artists have always felt the need to capture the good done by heroes in their art.
