Understanding
Understanding became a big part of Margaret's life. Understanding while in the camps if you didn't act tough you were going to get preyed on. I think the hardest thing for her to understand was her father's death and when he had died. She basically known he was dead by this point. What she didn't understand that if the government had told her when she would have died she would have had ten years of her life back.
