For multiplying terms, it's a simple kind of expression where only multiplication is used. Let's work on one. (6c)(4c)=? One thing you should remember is even though multiplication wasn't needed, when two numbers are right next to each other it's always multiplication. So what is 6x4? It is 20 and you cannot forget about the variable! So it is 20c squared.
