Calculating Net Force

To calculate an unbalanced force with opposite directions you would subtract. Ex: 10-7=3 The Net Force is 3 N.

To calculate an unbalanced force with two or more forces going the same direction you add. Ex: 5+5=10. The net force is 10 N.
