Balanced and Unbalanced Force

A balanced force ALWAYS has a net force of 0 N. The force on all sides are EQUAL.

An unbalanced force does not have a net force of zero. It can change in speed, direction, or both. (Acceleration)

*acceleration happens when an unbalanced net force acts on an object (movement)

Note: Velocity tells you the rate of change of the object's position.
