Respiratory System

The respiratory system lets you breath everyday you live. There, your body exchanges carbon dioxide and oxygen. When you inhale, you get the oxygen and when you exhale, the carbon dioxide(waste) leaves your body. The gas exchange takes place in the alveoli. The capillaries' and the alveoli's walls are very thin so the air goes right through the walls. The capillaries surrounding the alveoli exchanges carbon dioxide and oxygen.
