Personal Life.

Socrates married a young lady named Xanthippe. However at the time he had married her, the Peloepenision war had begun. He was required to serve in the military as a hoplite, or an elite Greek soldier. Xanthippe soon grew unfond of Socrates because he focused too much on philosophy and never considered to run a family.

Quote from Socrates.
