INTRODUCTION

The objective of this mini-lab is to estimate the amount of solute of solution for a given concentration. The data that we are looking to find is percent composition (mass) of a solute in a concentration.The main question to be answered is as follows:

A certain amount of vinegar is dissolved into 20 mL of rubbing alcohol to create a 47% solution. After mixing vinegar and the alcohol, What is the amount of solute in this FINAL solution?

Background Information:

- Solute is the thing being dissolved, Solution is the entire thing once everything is mixed in.
