Fingerprint analysis are performed by the law enforcement agencies or crime laboratories but sometimes casework may be sent to private companies. Examining fingerprints involves looking at the quantity and quality of the information in order to find agreement or disagreement between the unknown print. To get a better fingerprint examination the examiners use a small magnifier called a loupe to view the different details of the print. And the examiners also use plinter called a ridge counter to count the friction ridges.
