Supper (Continued)

Owning a "flattened calf" costed money as it did to buy meat from the market. The Gospels tell us that those who lived near lakes and rivers would often eat broiled fish. This is how Supper went in Jesus' time. In Jesus's time, lamb would be sacrificed during Passover. Bitter herbs were eaten during Passover.
