Angola gains independence from Portugal on Nov. 11 1975
The Portuguese country of Angola was founded in 1575 when a man by the name of Paulo Dias came with a hundred families and four-hundred soldiers.
In 1605, Luanda was named the Capital.
Then soon after a war between
Two former Liberian movements broke out and lasted from 1975 to 2002.
