About Jack Gilbert

Jack Gilbert's first book of poetry was called Views of Poetry and it was released in 1962. He married another poet, Linda Gregg, for six years. He also married Michiko Nogami. She later died and was the inspiration for a lot of his poems. Gilbert died on November 13, 2012.
