The Battle of Fredericksburg starts out with the Union army, led by Ambrose Burnside, arriving in Falmouth,Virginia. The Union army crosses the Rappahannock River and enters Falmouth. The Confederate army, led by Robert E.Lee, already occupies Falmouth and hold a defensive position to combat the invading Union.
