Robert H Goddard

  Back in America at the time they were truly struggling with rocketry. American phisysist Robert H Goddard was working hard to try and create rockets for the war just as Braun was. Before the war German scientists actually contacted Goddard with technical questions and Von Braun used some of goddards personal journals. When he was at the university of Berlin, he used these to develop his first few rockets.
