The LCCC:

Their Mission Statement and How They Worked as The Body of Christ

"A school-age program (6-18 years) that uses fine arts as a vehicle to help young people develop personal skills that can be used to help improve academic achievement and social well being. Art is alive at LCCC through Suzuki Violin, singing, dancing, drama, arts and craft" (LCCC).

The LCCC acts as the Body of Christ, because they build and instill community within the kids and the actual community that surrounds their building. When they had the production of "The Wiz" so many people who had never seen a show and also professional critics came out and that built community because they were all together for one cause.
