The desert biome is dry and hot with little vegetation and life. The desert has very little rainfall and is mostly composed of sand dunes. Although it is hot during the day, it gets freezing cold at night with temperatures dropping below zero. The plants and animals are highly specific to their biome. They adapted to their environment by storing water, and having built in cooling systems.
