The desert biome is a dry and hot environment with a temperature range of 28° c


The average rainfall in the desert is less than 50 cm per year.


Types of vegetation include ground hugging shrubs, cacti and few other plants.


Types of animals include reptiles such as horny devil, and Gila monster, birds of prey such as owls, and buzzards, small rodents such as the kangaroo mouse, and few large mammals such as antelope.
