Eastern American Toad

Anexyrus americanus

The eastern American toad is an animal that is native to North America and grows there. It ranges from north to eastern Manitoba, parts of Ontario and Quebec, Texas and Oklahoma, and every southeastern state except for Florida. The toads like to dwell in open fields, hardwood or pine hardwood forests, pastures, residential areas, anywhere where the habitat contains sandy or loamy soil , or moist hiding places.
