How Did Eichmann Become Affiliated with the Nazi Party?

Ernst Kaltenbrunner, a family friend, advised Eichmann to join both the NSDAP and the SS of Austria. Eichmann did this in the year of 1932, officially becoming an SS-Anwärter on April 1st, 1932.

By November of 1932, Eichmann became an official member of the SS and earned the title of an SS-Man.

Eichmann moved back to Germany and the acceptance of his application for joining the "active duty SS. regiments" allowed him to not only earn the title of Sharfuhrer, but join the "administrative staff of the Dachau Concentration Camp."
