Maple Leaf

This leaf came from a Maple Tree. It is a very broad, flat, and simple leaf. The Maple Tree is one of the most common species of trees in America, so these leaves are found most of everywhere. In the picture on the previous slide, you can identify the leaf vein, many chloroplasts, and a few epidermal cells.
