LAWS FOR A BEGINNING TEEN DRIVER

UNDER 18 YEARS OLD

- Can only have passengers such as: licensed driving instructor, parents or legal guardian, or any person providing instruction who is at least 20 years old

- For the second six months they may drive with the above people or may also drive with immediate family

- Curfew: until 18th birthday, driver may not drive between the hours of 11pm and 5am except for: employment, school, religious activities, and or medical necessity

- Until 18th birthday, all passengers in vehicle must use permanently installed seat belts

Until 18th birthday, may not use cell phones or other mobile electronic devices while driving
