The Cactus: Gifted with needles to keep the moisture within and reserved. Also the needles prevent evaporation. This helps them conserve water in the hot, dry climate.

Citrullus Colocynthis (aka Gourd): Gourd is a desert plant that is low to the ground. The plant has gourd that contains a milky sap that keeps it hydrated. The sap may be used for healing properties such as scorpion bites, sunburn, insect bites. Etc.
