An example of parody is when the knights of the round table go and witness a witch hunt. The people, who were accusing her of being a witch, actually just dressed her up to look like a witch with odd clothes and a carrot for a nose. This is parody because the writer of Monty Python was imitating and mocking the practices during the Salem Witch trials
