Use of Parables. Jesus told forty-one unique stories known as parables to convey the Gospel message about the Kingdom of God. In the case of the Good Samaritan, Jesus tells us to that we must love our neighbor and that our our neighbor includes everyone, including our enemies. In another case, the Prodigal Son, it tells us of God's unlimited love for sinners. The existence of each parables proves that there was a memorable person who told them.
