Palestine in Jesus's time thoughts

My understanding of Palestine in Jesus's time somewhat changed after researching its geography. Palestine provided agricultural growth that allowed settlements to thrive and towns to form. This land is important because if the land is mostly desert, Jesus would have not existed there or be in a different location. The natural land formations Jesus visited must have been beautiful to see and will probably still be today.
