Conflict and Resolution

In the story a girl received an egg that can grant wishes. She grows really close to the egg and they become friends. However, one day the egg disappears and says she can have one wish. She wants to wish that they will be friends still, but she doesn't want to force a friend on her. Instead she wishes that he was free.
