Allegorical Sense

1.A major theme that occurs in my passage is the steps you must take to reach heaven. Some other places in the bible where this theme occurs are: John 14, Mark 12, and Matthew 4. 

2. Teaching about adultery connects to the Ten Commandments where they state, "thou shall not commit adultery".

3. An Old Testament promise that Jesus fulfilled in Matthews 5-6 was, "The lord is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face" (Psalms 11:7)
