- The Staten Island Ferry was built in 1905, to help the people in Staten Island have a quicker and cheaper way to get to Manhattan (aka NYC).

- Also, since nothing in the environment was changes when the ferry was being used, this is and example of Dependency.

- People still use the ferry to this day.

-If the ferry was never built, traffic on the bridge would be unimaginable and no one would get to wherever they were going on time.
