-H.E.I.:Human Environment Interaction.

-Human Environment Interaction: People use the environment and change it to meet their needs.

-There are 3 different types of Human Environment Interaction

- Adaptation: Humans change the way they live.

~Ex: AC/Heaters, clothing, shelters for bad weather, shutters

- Modification: Humans change the environment to fit what they want.

~Ex: Cutting down trees to make open space to build something, building a dam; Also

Desertification which is the process of making an area into a desert, by over farming or over

grazing.

- Dependency: Humans interact by not changing anything in the environment.

~Ex: transportation, energy, food, fresh air

Shutters: Places that have a lot of wind, use shutters so if the windows break, glass doesn't fly into the house.
