CLOSE CONSTRAINT

Type a description of your image subject matter here.

What tends to be believed?

Belief systems are the crude mental frameworks we use to interface with experienced phenomena. Beliefs tend to be closely coupled with experience. When looking at a Closely Constrained system, again, the idea is not to agree or disagree, but to look in depth at how beliefs, attitudes, processes, and expectations can be constructed.

Whole Scale analyses provide general ideas, Close Constraints examine how those are strengthened or intensified.

The techniques that can be used to investigate Close Constraints should minimize bias en route to understanding what can be believed.

None of these techniques need to order or prioritize one system against another. They are exploratory and just like Whole Scales, are for the sake of making sense of dynamic environments.
