Social class I Inherited

The social class I inherited (based on income) when I was born would be the working class.

I experienced a form of status inconsistency with my social class because of my last name. In my town people with the last name Deterding are usually of the upper or lower middle class. So to others my family was seen as middle class. Especially because my close relatives are also apart of the upper to lower middle class range.
