Vertical farming will affect the people's lives positively and negatively. Other than more space to plant and more efficiency for planting, vertical farming will also lead to an easier accessibility to fruits and vegetables for city areas letting local markets a faster way of getting fresh produce. This will also lessen the cost of the produce thus making the people more prone to eating produce. Negative effects would be for the other planting companies which would have a disadvantage due to the vertical farms being easy to access to the city folk and there would be no importing cost. Other negative effects would be if the smoke from vehicles would damage the crops that would be bought by the people.
