In the story, "A Wish Named Arnold", Arnold, the wish, is a magical agent. Marguerite is in contact with Arnold, and becomes friends with him.

Arnold, trapped as a wish for as long as he can remember, is finally free when Marguerite wishes Arnold to be free.

The message/moral of this story is to put others before yourself. In this story, the main character Marguerite wishes Arnold to be free.
