State Board 9 (Pin Curls)

1. Starting on the RIGHT side of the head, add some kind of product for hold. also make sure its wet hair.

2. Create a slightly angled horizontal part then from the one end cut back and make a diagonal parting to behind the ear then a straight horizontal part to the back of the head to create a "Z"

3. Using your plastic rat tail comb, taking the first row and 1/3rd of the hair ribbon the hair and hold the base. 4.Create the pin curl and make sure it is flat to the head and the pick up line is visible.

5. Clip the hair down and flat side of clip down.

6. Repeat through the first row to have 3 flat on base pin curls.

7. Start in the back of the next row and create an on base flat pin curl, then a half on half off flat pin curl and an off base flat pin curl.

The back section, you need 3 stand up/ volume pin curls.

8.Take a sub section and wrap the curl up croquignole style and clip.
