Description of what terrace farming is:

- As previously stated, the Vietnamese needed a solution for the lack of flat land and excessive water, so they adapted this special method of farming.

- What they did, was they dug multiple flat platforms, or terraces out hills, which made many flat plots for farming. It looks somewhat like a topographic map.

- With these flat plots, it also helped with the water situation because when it rains, the excess water runs down to the next level and hydrates the plants lower and lower until the bottom where it pools into some wastewater which is easily disposable.

- The water also removes all the pests and creatures that might harm the plants as well.
