How this is human-environment interaction:

- In order to survive in a hilly area like Vietnam and grow vegetation as well as live on flat ground, the Vietnamese modified to style of the land so that there were flat areas of land to live and farm on.

- Since human-environment interaction is how humans use the environment to survive, changing the land to farm is a good example.

Type of a human-environment interaction:

- Terrace farming is a type of adaptation to the environment.

- The Vietnamese are changing the land to benefit them, but at the same time, they are using a very organic method of cultivating the land so that the natural environments all around the terrace farms are minimally affected, if affected at all.
