New England colonies

New England was founded for spiritual reasons which included Connecticut,New Hampshire,Massachusetts,and Rhode Island.Groups like the puritans wanted to settle in New England because they wanted to spread religion and purify the Church of England and recreate society which spreaded throughout the colonies.The first European colonists of (NE)were focused on maritime affairs such as whaling and fishing then developed to agriculture and arts and recreation which dealt with their culture.The religion practiced in (NE) was strictly puritan and they did not tolerate any other religions.The New England colonies made money based on trading,lumbering,fishing,whaling,shipping,fur trading(forest animals) and ship building.
