I wake up bright and early in the morning and tie up my topknot.
I roll up my mat that was used for sleeping and go have a shower and cleanse my body as it expresses my religion of Shinto.
I eat a large amount of rice and sake as there is a conflict occurring that I must attend.
I rinse my mouth after breakfast for cleanliness and gather my uniform for a hard days work and go see the Shogun in the city.
The man was in a grumpy mood and set me off out of the village to resolve the feud outside our borders.
Taking out my sword displays my authority and reasoned with them calming the dispute down.
The peasants bowed and went on with their business of handling the crops.
I tell the Shogun of my report and return back to my house.
Removing my armour, I wear some comfortable clothes and calm my mind.
Following the practices of Buddism I calm my mind by doing meditation.
I have lunch which is rice, potatoes, radishes and sake.
Then I go to the local craftsman to sharpen and refine my armour and tools.
After my armour and utensils are finished with the craftsman I take them home.
I have dinner which can consist of rice and sake.
Have a shower and rinse and go to bed.
