Temperature
Temperature is how hot or cold it is.
Temperature affects both plants and animals.
Plants:
Temperature can limit the amount of plants. It can also kill plants.
Temperature limits the types of animals that can live in Monongahela National Forest. It can also affect their adaptations. Since the weather is cold most of the animals have fur. If it was warmer there would be more furless animals.
Animals:
If it was warmer there would be more tropical animals and plants.
