When I was ten years old attending elementary school, in a predominately white classroom, one of the boys in my class trading cards came up missing. Everyone assumed I took them. I was shocked because I was taught not to steal from others and to ask for whatever I wanted. However, when the cards were found in someone else’s back pack, and I was offered no apology; I felt sad, angry and hurt.
